Richard Coleman started his own business in June 1989. The business was started to provide mechanical marine services for your average boat owner to offshore racing boats. In 1994, a boat customer asked for his involvement in manufacturing aluminum docks and gangways, to which he purchased the business five years later. Richard is currently the President of Bristol Industries of PA, Inc. where over the past several years has offered products all over the world from his home in Bucks County to Iceland, China and Africa and all across the continental United States. Along with many locations Richard has had the pleasure to offer his products to local parks, our fine military, along with many natural attractions—one of them being the beautiful Niagara Falls, Canada. Richard is a very motivated and passionate business owner. He is always willing to offer employment to people needing that “Second Chance” to improve their personal situation; at the same time having the personnel to excel within his company. His everyday motto is “Let’s get it done!” Richard can be reached at Rickc@bristolramp.com.
Kevin P. Glasson Sr. has owned and operated his plumbing company for over 30+ years. Starting out as what he thought was a joke, Kevin’s plumbing night school teacher asked the class one night, if anyone wanted to by his plumbing company. Kevin’s initial response at the age of 18 (thinking his teacher was joking around) said “sure I will buy your plumbing company.” Never thinking this would ever happen. Well within the next few months at that same age of 18, Kevin bought his first plumbing company for $5,000.00. Overcoming many obstacles from ridicule to being portrayed as a kid with no idea what he was doing, Kevin dedicated his sweat equity into something he believed in and grew the company from a $75,000/year service company to a $2.5 million dollar service company today.
Kevin’s heart has always been in serving others. He has been and still is a volunteer firefighter for over 23 years protecting the community he lives in and serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees with the Levittown Fire Co. #2 fire department. Kevin always wants what is best for others before thinking of himself and implements those principles when running his own business. Following these morals has helped keep most of his employees for more than 25 years.
Kevin serves as Director for the Business 2 Business Association where he volunteers his time and efforts into helping locally owned businesses grow through networking, and offering business solutions to improve their bottom line.
Kevin grew up in Levittown with his 12 brothers & sisters and proud to say he still lives in Levittown where both he and his wife are raising their family. Kevin is happily married to his wife Michelle for 24 years, they have two (2) children: Kevin Jr-19 in his Sophomore year at Temple University year and Erica-16 a junior at Neshaminy High School and a Goldendoodle dog named Jackson.
Gerard has always been motivated! Since he can remember he has always wanted to be a mechanic, helping his dad fix whatever he could. He turned that ambition into a business that he started when he was 18 and has been moving ahead strong ever since. He is a native of Bristol Township, born and raised and passionate about the business he has operated here for over 35 years! Gerard’s business, Lykon Automotive is proud to be your go to mechanic for whatever you need and this is “Where We Put Our Customers First!” Gerard passionately cares about his customers and the community.
A few years ago, Gerard became involved with making his community even better by devotedly being involved with the Bristol Township Council. His love of people and his community affords him the luxury of always being involved with making everyone’s surroundings better. When Gerard believes in something he wholeheartedly puts his best foot forward to accomplish what ever that goal is.
Gerard currently sits as a Director for the B2BA and is constantly encouraging and informing everyone he comes into contact with about ways that they can better themselves and their businesses. More often than not he has some helping hand in making someone’s day just a little bit better…Always involved in some community oriented event!
Gerard is one of seven children and he and his wife, Kim are proud parents to 5 beautiful children and one adorable grandson! Oh (and last but not least) one ferocious, Yorkie named Spike!
