DESCRIPTION:B2BA April Member Event:\nApril 27 6:30 PM \nNeshaminy Pizzeria Uno \nBucks County Technical High School Career Coordinator Night: \nWalt Hansell and Ron Martino are the School to Career Coordinators \nFollowing up on our HR meeting in March the B2BA would like to continue helping our members with finding new talented employees and we think this month will be a great meeting for all members when it comes to growing your businesses. \nBucks County Technical High School\, located in Fairless Hills opened for its first session in September 1958 with an enrollment of approximately 600 students. Students would rotate back and forth from the technical school to one of the six sending school districts: Bensalem\, Bristol Borough\, Bristol Township\, Morrisville\, Neshaminy\, or Pennsbury. A new\, state-of-the-art comprehensive technical high school opened in September 2000 with a capacity of approximately 1\,500 students. Being one of eight comprehensive high schools in PA\, Lower Bucks students now have a place to call home. Students from the sending districts apply during the Fall of their 8th Grade Middle School year to begin their technical education in 9th Grade. BCTHS serves students from Grade 9- 12 in 26 different areas. \nWalt Hansell and Ron Martino are the School to Career Coordinators at Bucks County Technical High School. The purpose of the School to Career program is to provide students with work-based experiences to acquaint themselves with the world of work before graduation.
