Gerard Lykon

Director

Gerard Lykon has been in business for over 33 years. At the age of 6 he knew he wanted to be a mechanic. He wanted to help build everything with his father. By age 10 Gerard was rebuilding lawnmower motors while starting his own lawn mowing business, and by age 12 he was rebuilding motorcycles and go carts. Between the ages of 14-17 he was enrolled in the Bucks County Technical School for Automotive, while working for an Ignition Shop cleaning parts.

Gerard graduated High School in 1979 and became a business owner of a mechanic shop called Lykon Cylinder Heads right behind his parents house. He specialized in building cylinder heads and engines.

In 1982, he opened up a 2 bay garage, then in 1986 he relocated to a bigger shop with 4 bays and added Automotive Repairs and the business name was changed to Lykon Automotive. In 1994 he bought a shop and rebuilt it to a 4 bay garage, and then in 2009 renovated the shop to a 6 bay garage and added 2 rental vehicles and a Tow Service. Gerard Lykon has been in business for so many years because he treats his customers like you would treat your family. He takes the extra step to provide that extra attention you deserve.
